6-Day Remarkable Great Migration, Wildlife & Cultural Safari

Upon arrival in the Kilimanjaro region, meet your safari representative and transfer to Serval Wildlife in Sanya Juu. After a welcome briefing, enjoy a guided wildlife experience and learn more about the animals and conservation work at the property. Take time for photographs and enjoy your packed lunch in a scenic setting. The remainder of the day is at leisure within the property, followed by dinner and overnight at Serval Wildlife Lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, travelling through the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands. As you enter the Serengeti ecosystem, the landscape opens into vast savannahs renowned for exceptional concentrations of wildlife and the annual Great Migration. Keep watch for lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes and an impressive variety of birdlife. Enjoy a short evening game drive en route to your camp, then settle in for dinner and overnight.

Rise before dawn for an early transfer to the balloon launch site. After a safety briefing and preparation, take to the skies for an unforgettable hot-air balloon flight over the Serengeti, offering a unique perspective of the plains and wildlife below. After landing, enjoy breakfast before continuing with a game drive through the Serengeti. Spend the rest of the day exploring wildlife-rich areas with your private guide, then return to camp for dinner and overnight. Balloon operations remain subject to weather and operator safety conditions.

After breakfast, begin with a game drive in Central Serengeti, an area known for year-round wildlife and excellent big-cat sightings. Later, continue south toward Ndutu, following the broader movement of the migration herds. Enjoy wildlife viewing along the way and continue exploring the Ndutu plains until late afternoon before heading to your tented accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the Ndutu ecosystem, one of the prime locations for the Great Migration during the calving season. The short-grass plains can host vast wildebeest and zebra herds, while the abundance of young animals attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas. Your guide will follow current wildlife movements to maximize viewing opportunities. In the late afternoon, continue toward your accommodation in the Ngorongoro area for dinner and overnight.
