Day 01 :

Zanzibar – Dar es Salaam – Morogoro – Mikumi National Park

Begin your adventure with a morning ferry from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam. On arrival, transfer to the SGR railway station for the train journey to Morogoro, which takes approximately two hours. Your driver-guide will meet you at the station and continue by road toward Mikumi National Park, approximately one hour away depending on traffic and road conditions. After arrival, check in and begin your first game drive in Mikumi. Enjoy a hot lunch, then continue exploring the park into the late afternoon in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes and other wildlife. After sunset, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 02 :

Mikumi Game Drive & Maasai Village Cultural Experience

After breakfast, depart for another rewarding game drive in Mikumi National Park. The park's broad open plains make wildlife viewing especially enjoyable, with good chances of seeing lions, elephants, buffaloes, impalas, zebras, giraffes and many other species. Enjoy lunch at one of the designated picnic areas inside the park. Around 2:00 PM, leave the park and continue to a nearby Maasai village for a cultural experience featuring traditional dancing, local customs and insights into Maasai life. Later, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 03 :

Mikumi – Morogoro – Dar es Salaam – Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, depart Mikumi and transfer to Morogoro SGR Station for the train journey back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, your driver will meet you and transfer you to the ferry terminal. Board the ferry to Zanzibar and enjoy the final leg of your journey across the Indian Ocean, marking the end of your 3-day Mikumi safari adventure.

WONDERFUL We had an absolutely exceptional stay thanks to Leroi Lion Safaris! Thanks to him, we were able to observe an incredible diversity of wild animals, including the rarest and most difficult to approach: leopards, rhinoceroses, cheetahs, and lions! And as if that weren't enough, we were lucky enough to witness the great migration. Seeing these immense herds of wildebeest and zebras stretching as far as the eye can see is a grandiose spectacle, of rare power, that will remain etched in our memories forever. Mikumi National Park Three-day safari in Mikumi Park. Joshua's care was very good. We managed to meet and get to know all the animals possible to see up close. From elephants, giraffes and buffaloes, to hippos, lions and leopards. A warm, friendly and very helpful team. It was very nice and fun. I highly recommend it.

Perfect 3-day 2-night safari Our safari with Joshua was just amazing. We booked a tour with him from Zanzibar and he helped us with everything, choosing the right length and tour, the flights to Arusha, and more. He picked us up at the airport and we drove to the national parks with him. It’s been amazing three days where we were able to see all big five and had the opportunity to spend as long with the animals as we wanted to. The bush-lunch that he and his cool provided was really delicious and made for us based on our wishes. After the long days in the National park we were able to go in the pool and have a huge and delicious dinner made by his cook. After dinner it was nice having a chat with him and getting to know more about his culture and the life in Tanzania. It has been an once in a lifetime experience to go on safari with him and his team! We definitely would recommend it to everyone!

Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Masai village We did the Serengeti, Ngorongora and masai village trip. Everything was amazing except the fake masai people, which were trying to sell you "their" products, which were really really expensive (brutally overpriced, 160$ for 3 basic armbands and 5 basic under glass plates, which are worth really maybe about 30$). The food, which we had for dinner in the camp was good but the packaged food we have received in paper bags wasn’t that good (2/5 points). Our guide and driver was really kind and friendly, but maybe could tell us more information about the safari and national parks, animals, people, etc… The last day we were "dragged" by them to 4 local shops with souvenirs, etc… we didn’t want to go there, but they were still taking us there (maybe because they have some kind of agreement with shops owners). So overall i give it 4/5 points.
