6-Day Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Private Safari

Arrive in Arusha from Zanzibar and meet your professional driver-guide for the start of your private safari. Continue to Tarangire National Park, one of northern Tanzania's most rewarding wildlife destinations. Enjoy a game drive through landscapes dominated by ancient baobab trees, open savannah and the Tarangire River. The park is especially famous for its large elephant herds, while lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes and numerous bird species may also be seen. In the late afternoon, leave the park and continue to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy spectacular views across the highlands as you continue toward the Serengeti plains. After entering the park, begin your game drive while travelling toward your camp. Northern Serengeti is known for its remote landscapes, resident wildlife and, during the appropriate migration period, large concentrations of wildebeest and zebra. Continue to your migration camp for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy breakfast at camp before setting out for a full-day game drive in Northern Serengeti. Explore the Kogatende region with your private guide, following current wildlife movements and searching for predators, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and other species. During the migration season, this region can offer exceptional opportunities to witness large herds moving through the northern plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your afternoon game drive. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, begin your journey south with a game drive through the Serengeti. Continue exploring the wildlife-rich Central Serengeti until around lunchtime, with opportunities to see big cats and large herbivores across the open plains. After lunch, proceed toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and your overnight accommodation. Enjoy a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight in preparation for the following day's crater safari.

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend to the crater floor for a memorable game drive. This extraordinary natural caldera supports a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, gazelles and hyenas, with a chance of seeing the endangered black rhino.
