After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the southern plains of the Serengeti–Ndutu ecosystem. During the calving season, huge numbers of wildebeest gather on the nutrient-rich short-grass plains, creating exceptional wildlife-viewing opportunities. The concentration of newborn calves also attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas. Along the way, look for zebras, gazelles, giraffes, elephants and abundant birdlife.
